Educational Technology StandardsThis website developed as part of coursework for EDTECH 541- Integrating Technology into the Classroom Curriculum. The content promotes learning educational technology through the 2012 AECT professional standards. The site content contains learning activities that promote the effective, responsible use of educational technologies to support, manage and evaluate teaching and learning resources. Each learning activity is supported by peer reviewed evidence and is designed to meet the needs of today's digital citizens. Additionally ISTE and CoArc standards were used to guide individual respiratory care curriculum lessons. Visit each lesson page for more information about which AECT standards apply to each lesson. These attributes reflect the Department of Educational Technology program's mission as well as the College of Education's conceptual framework of responsibly integrating inclusive teaching strategies that meet the needs of diverse communities and promote learning for all.
